The WWE Universe & WWE Superstars help in the fight against breast cancer by donating $1 million to the Susan G. Komen for a Cure organization.


WWE and Susan G. Komen are expanding their joint “Increase Over Cancer” strategy to include all WWE Superstars and Divas wearing green ring gear beginning tonight on Friday Evening Raw. The strategy will continue for the duration of National Chest Cancer Attention month with WWE Superstars and Divas wearing tailored “Increase Over Cancer” t-shirts to help raise awareness and resources for Komen. WWE will subscribe to Komen 20 % of the retail income value of all niche “Increase Over Cancer” merchandise sold today through December 31 on WWEShop.com and at WWE stay events.

WWE will even present co-branded bracelets and a “Increase Over Cancer” cap, scarf and wristband collection, inspired by WWE Superstar John Cena®, who conceived of the collaboration this past year and remains an avid spokesman for Komen.

To support Komen's objective, WWE will utilize all its assets, including TV and pay-per-view broadcasts, stay activities, PSAs, in-arena, digital and social media to produce awareness and inspire fans to have involved. Through the entire month, the announcer dining table, entrance slam and ring skirts is likely to be co-branded and the center ring rope turned green to promote the combat chest cancer.

“WWE Superstars and WWE Divas are providing a significant public support by hitting an incredible number of WWE fans – women and men – with chest cancer training and information, while increasing resources that keep our perform crucial,” claimed Dorothy Jones, VP of Marketing. “We're happy for WWE's commitment to the trigger, and to WWE fans for his or her enthusiastic support of Komen's objective to end chest cancer.”

Susan G. Komen and WWE have a record of achievement in increasing awareness for the combat chest cancer. Last year, the WWE Galaxy raised $1 million for Komen during its month-long chest cancer awareness campaign. Additionally, WWE has reinforced Komen through its “Produce Mom Proud” strategy in addition to participation in Competition for the Heal® activities for the duration of regional communities.
